ABOUT
Welcome to the film pages for the Wild Indie Sci-fi & Fantasy Film Festival. The New season is open for entries.
Every year the quality of the entries blows us away. When screening, the site links you through to the film pages where you may find information about the films, any awards achieved, BTS and photos if the filmmaker has them and possibly links to current sites where you can see the director's work.
For those that bought tickets last year, we hope you enjoyed the films on the online festival. We hope you come back for another journey into the imagination next year (drop us an email and you'll get a discount). We feel honoured and privileged to have the films enter our festival. Thank you to all.
Our aim in starting the festival was to support and encourage filmmakers in our favourite genres. Our prizes aim to provide lasting skills or assets that will help the filmmakers make more films. Part of the larger aim includes trying to get them the biggest showcase and audience that we can. The screening and awards are held in London, and always aim for a big screen. However, to increase the audience we have created this online festival. We know so many people worldwide have had a rough few years. Keep hale and hearty, we hope this festival and these films can help bring you some enjoyment and increase the filmmaker's audience.
Please share the portal with people you think may like the films. We always try to keep the price as low as we can and the price covers the cost of running the site, we don't charge individually for the films so it doesn't effect potential distribution deals. We want to get these films out to as big an audience as we can. Some of the filmmakers will add "Behind The Scenes" and "Making of" reels to their films pages, as well as interviews, photos, posters, and more. It makes for a great way to find out more about the people behind the films.
However you decide to watch the films; be it on a huge home cinema screen, a laptop, or a phone, take a minute to free yourself from the stresses of the day, grab yourself some refreshments, sit back, relax, put up the mental "do not disturb sign", and prepare to enter the imaginations of the filmmakers. There are some wonderful stories.
Enjoy!
